Extremely bad service!!!
Ordered on line, got a message that order was ready. Went in to pick it up, guy told me, "have a seat. I'll check it for you". He has no intention of checking it at all. I can see my order sitting on the counter. Mind you, nothing else was on the counter but my order. There were only 2 tables with two customers.
Then a woman came out and said, "do you need a menu?" I said I'm waiting for my online order.
Then she goes, "let me check, oh it's not ready"
Then she finally went and check the ONLY items in a plastic bag on the counter. It was my order.
They made me wait for my order that's already sitting on the counter for a while!
I picked up a very cold order!

Really tasty food.. their eggplant and paneer was sooooooo good..
their service was slow and the servers were not too friendly, but I would still go back for the food if in Vegas..

4/15/2024 - Love trying new places and Chaska has always been on my list! Pretty cute interior, fast service. Indian street food in this place is sooo good. The servers were very good at letting you know what's in it especially if you're starting your way into Indian food. Reasonably priced, good portions, tasty!!

A pioneer in the Indian culinary scene, Chef Vijay has always been motivated by a fascination for diverse cuisines and the desire to bring them to life in unexpected ways. Despite the skepticism surrounding the culinary profession in India during his early years, he has transformed it into a globally respected craft, rising through the ranks to become an industry leader.
Chef Vijay’s diverse background encompasses an impressive array of roles, from Sous Chef at Hotel Aurora Towers in Pune, India, to Line Cook on Miami’s Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Each role has allowed him to enhance his culinary skills and mentor others, passing on his wealth of knowledge to up-and-coming chefs who have gone on to make their own mark in the industry. Along the way, he’s cooked for an esteemed clientele that ranges from Bollywood legends like Amitabh Bachchan to Indian politicians and international industrialists.
Known for his innovative approach to fusion cooking, Chef Vijay has also managed culinary teams in some of India’s most prestigious hotels, like Taj Blue Diamond and Mayfair Banquets in Pune. His talent for culinary creativity extends to fast food and Indian fusion cuisine, as demonstrated by his consulting roles for various restaurants, such as Food United and Chutney Sauce Murabba. He has also guest lectured at numerous culinary colleges in India and served as a judge on cooking shows and competitions.
Over the years, he has been featured in various culinary events, both nationally and internationally. This includes winning a medal as a Top Chef at the Food and Wine Festival 2016 held at SLS Casino in Las Vegas. His expertise and passion for the culinary arts earned him a spot in the Limca Book of Records.
As the Executive Chef at Chaska Indian Street Food, Chef Vijay Deokar brings his culinary prowess, vibrant personality, and innovative spirit. His vision for Chaska extends beyond the kitchen—into an all-encompassing Bollywood-style experience that celebrates the rich and varied tapestry of Indian street food.
